Yalla Nghanni is a community project that is geared towards preserving our rich culture within our community. Historically, our culture and music was passed down over the centuries as an aural tradition; participation took place in our homes and living rooms and stayed a part of our memory. "Yalla Nghanni" takes music out of the concert hall and brings it back to into our homes and community spaces, creating a warm and welcoming environment to access, learn, preserve, and enjoy the music and poetry that makes our culture so rich and vibrant.
